n Roots of the Wild, you’ll be receiving items through quests, jobs, and the shop that your character can utilize in-game for things like purchasing, crafting, and recipes. In addition, you can trade or sell items in your inventory to other members or to the in-world shops. To make sure that this system runs smoothly, Roots has a mandatory inventory system you must use to be a part of this world mechanic. Every item your OC gains from rolling, quests, or otherwise must be listed on your inventory sheet. However, personal items and story only items need not be included in your inventory.

How it Works
How is this different from my character app?
On your character app, you are only displaying what weapons and armor your character is currently using, as well as personal and key items that are not counted in the inventory system.
What needs to be counted?
Any items that are within the materials, armor, or weapons pages
Do I have to use a premade template?
No, we do have a premade template available, but you are welcome to use whatever method is most convenient for you. It needs to be something mods and members can access and see. Please include a link to your inventory in your application.
Each character has their own inventory. If you have multiple characters you will track them in separate tabs. (But Token Trackers are one per member!)
What about items spent or bought in private/personal RPs or Art?
If it’s just for flavor text you do not need to own, use up, or buy/sell the item through our group mechanics. However if you want to actually add the item to your character’s inventory you will need to purchase it from a shop or have it gifted/traded from another character who does own it.
Can I include items for my character who has the Vending perk?
No, Characters with the vending perk need to use a separate form for that. Please refer to the Vending Perk page
