Community-crafted characters who accept Help Wanted Quests, support the Stealing perk, and fill out the world of Roots of the Wild.
The NPCs of Roots of the Wild are a collaborative project between members and moderators to create a set of characters that are available to accept Help Wanted Quests from, as well as to enhance the Stealing Perk by providing extra targets.
The NPCs of Roots of the Wild are free to be referenced at any time as part of RPs, but are not played by any moderators or members. These characters are designed to fill out the world of Roots of the Wild.
Herbalist
Hank runs the village's medicinal supply, creating allergy remedies and healing potions for sick villagers. Despite his constant sneezing, he's dedicated to keeping the community healthy.
Fisherman
Sue manages the village's fishing operations, providing fresh seafood to the market and maintaining river trade routes. She's intensely focused on her work and the river's bounty.
Orchard Keeper
Lukan manages the village's fruit orchards, growing and harvesting various fruits for trade and village consumption. She takes great pride in her trees and agricultural knowledge.
Scout
Myti explores underground cave systems, maps new territories, and discovers valuable minerals and resources. Their curiosity drives them to explore dangerous underground areas.
Monster Hunter
Cree protects the village from dangerous monsters, tracks threats, and maintains the safety of the surrounding territory. Their vigilance keeps the skies and lands safe.
Mushroom Forager
Cece specializes in identifying and collecting various mushrooms from the forest, preserving them for various uses. Despite their gloomy nature, they're experts in fungal knowledge.
Weapons Dealer
Zone crafts and sells weapons and armor, providing the village with protection and military equipment. Their crafty nature helps them create quality gear and protect their merchandise.
Auctioneer
Peddler runs auctions for rare and valuable items, managing the village's high-end trade. Their charismatic personality and shrewd business sense make them excellent at attracting high bidders.
Forest Guardian
Walton protects and maintains the ancient forest, healing sick trees and sharing Korok wisdom. Their playful nature belies their deep connection to forest magic and ancient traditions.
Miner
Jengo works in the deep mines, extracting valuable ores and maintaining mine safety. Their Goron strength and hardworking nature make them excellent at dangerous underground work.
Nocturnal Hunter
Jasz hunts dangerous creatures during the night, using stealth and specialized equipment. Their mysterious Twili nature and stealth skills make them perfect for nocturnal operations.
Scholar
Lecia studies ancient ruins and artifacts, preserving historical knowledge and conducting archaeological research. Their Sheikah heritage gives them unique insights into ancient mysteries.
Botanist
Tye conducts botanical research, manages the village greenhouse, and experiments with plant cultivation. Their Kokiri nature gives them a deep understanding of plant life and forest magic.
Coop Keeper
Lil Tim is the boss cucco — the rooster of the flock who protects his hens and manages the poultry farm. He's protective of his family. He WILL fight you.
