Help Wanted Quests

Daily village tasks from NPCs — complete them in Discord for loot, progress, and long-term rewards.

What Are Help Wanted Quests?

Daily tasks from villagers in Rudania, Inariko, and Vhintl

Help Wanted quests are daily tasks posted by villagers in Rudania, Inariko, and Vhintl. Embeds go to each village's town hall channel and expire at midnight Eastern on the calendar day they were posted.

Each village gets 1–3 quests per day depending on village level (level 1 = 1, level 2 = 2, level 3 = 3). The bot schedules them at set times throughout the day — check town halls regularly.

Each quest can only be completed once (first successful claim wins). Your daily and weekly limits are per Discord user, not per character.

Quick reference

  • Daily limit: 1 completed Help Wanted quest per user per Eastern calendar day
  • Weekly limit: 3 completed quests per user per week (week starts Sunday midnight Eastern)
  • Natives only: Item, crafting, monster, art, writing, and guess quests require home village = quest village
  • Escort: Complete at the destination village — current village must match; any traveler can finish
  • Blighted OCs cannot take Help Wanted quests (Mod OCs are exempt from most state checks)
  • Exchange balance: 50-completion rewards use your user account's current exchange counter, not a single OC's tally

How to Use the Command

Quest embeds appear in each village's town hall. Use the quest ID from the embed — options autocomplete on the command.

Basic Quest Completion

Quest Types

The four most common Help Wanted categories

Item Quests

Deliver specific items from your inventory.

  • Must have enough of the requested item in inventory
  • Items are removed on completion
  • Use /helpwanted complete
  • Home village must match the quest village

Monster Quests

Defeat a sequence of monsters threatening the village.

  • Use /helpwanted monsterhunt — not complete
  • Costs 1 stamina when the hunt starts (whole run)
  • Home village must match the quest village
  • KO during the hunt fails the questdaily limit is not spent unless you win
  • Only one monster hunt can run server-wide at a time
  • May grant loot from defeated monsters

Escort Quests

Escort an NPC to another village.

  • Quest embed posts in the origin village's town hall
  • Travel until current village = the quest's destination
  • Run /helpwanted complete at the destination
  • Any character can finish once they arrive (not natives-only)
  • Escort quests are skipped when travel is blocked by weather or village damage

Crafting Quests

Deliver items you crafted yourself.

  • Inventory must show the item with obtain containing crafting
  • Gathered, bought, or traded items do not count
  • Crafted items are removed on completion
  • Use /helpwanted complete
  • Home village must match the quest village

Art Quests

Create artwork and submit it for moderator approval.

  • Use /submit art with the quest ID
  • Quest completes after a mod approves the submission
  • Usually scheduled to post before noon Eastern
  • Home village must match the quest village

Writing Quests

Write the requested piece and submit it for approval.

  • Use /submit writing with the quest ID
  • Quest completes after a mod approves the submission
  • Usually scheduled to post before noon Eastern
  • Home village must match the quest village

Character Guess Quests

Guess which OC the clue describes.

  • Use /helpwanted guess with the quest ID, your character, and your guess
  • Wrong guesses do not complete the quest — try again until someone gets it
  • Home village must match the quest village

Location Requirements

Who can complete which quest, and where

  • Item, crafting, monster, art, writing, guessHome village must match the quest village

  • Escort blockedFlood, Avalanche, and Rock Slide (and badly damaged villages) can prevent escort quests from rolling or block destinations

Visitors whose home village does not match cannot complete native-only quests for that village. Escort is the main exception — finish at the destination even if you are visiting.

Limitations and Restrictions

What Happens When You Complete a Quest

  • The town hall embed updates to show who completed it
  • Your user account gains +1 toward daily/weekly limits and exchange progress
  • Item and crafting deliveries are removed from inventory
  • Monster hunts grant loot during the fight; the quest completes only if every monster is defeated
  • Art and writing quests complete after moderator approval of your submission

50 Completed Help Wanted Quests Reward

Exchange tracked completions for a major reward

When your user account has at least 50 current completions for exchange, run /helpwanted exchange. Use /helpwanted history to see Current for Exchange vs Total.

  • Spirit OrbAdded to the named character's inventory
  • Character Slot VoucherAdds +1 character slot to your user account
  • Costs 50 from your exchange balance; both total and current counters are tracked on your user profile

Troubleshooting

Common errors and how to fix them

Wrong Village or Not a Native

Native quests require home village = quest village. Escort quests require current village = the listed destination.

Quest Requirements Not Met

Item — check inventory counts. Crafting — only items with crafting obtain tags. Monster — use /helpwanted monsterhunt. Art/writing — use /submit and wait for mod approval.

Daily/Weekly Limit Reached

Limits are per user. Daily resets midnight Eastern; weekly resets Sunday midnight Eastern.

Monster Hunt Already in Progress

Only one server-wide monster hunt runs at a time. Wait for the current hunt to finish before starting another.

Quest Expired or Already Completed

Quests expire at midnight Eastern on the day posted. Each quest can only be completed once — check the embed status.
