Beginning on 1/27/2021, the Community Board has been partially shuttered—no gathering rolls may take place while the villages prepare. Trade remains open for now, but once the Blight Bloom begins, survival will take priority over barter.

As the Blight swells in strength, the Dragons, Oracles, and Sages are dedicating themselves to defense—warding the skies, purifying the rivers, and shielding the forests. Yet even they cannot hold the tide alone.

The villages of Rudania, Inariko, and Vhintl have issued a desperate plea:Champions must rise from among the villagers to stand against what creeps through the cracks.

• Characters may only join the defense of one village.
• You must defend the village you originate from.
• Be warned: If one village is left undefended, there may be consequences.

The Blight Bloom manifests as three separate assaults, one on each village. Each will culminate in a Boss Battle—a manifestation of corrupted power unique to each region.

The battles will be held as follows:

• Vhintl – January 31st 2021, 3:00 PM EST
• Rudania – February 2nd 2021, 12:00 PM EST
• Inariko – February 3rd 2021, 6:00 PM EST

These times were chosen based on survey results to include as many protectors as possible.Please note: You may not join late, even if the fight is ongoing—doing so would disrupt balance and fairness.

The Blight Bloom brings more than just monsters—it brings corruption.Characters may now fall victim to Blight Sickness, a dangerous condition that lingers long after battle.

Victory brings reward—rare items, recognition, perhaps even advancement in your journey. But beware:

• Characters may emerge wounded or changed.
• Though death or permanent injury will never be forced, the dangers are real.
• How you perform may determine what your village gains… or loses.

In one week saw all three villages—Rudania, Inariko, and Vhintl—plunged into turmoil, not by invasion from without, but by the resurgence of Blight within.

• In Rudania, a corrupted Dodongo detonated outside the village, scattering Blight and fire. Amid the chaos, Zo'ra, a once-trusted villager, fell fully to Stage 4 Blight and had to be forcibly restrained by San and Paachi using a bound and feral Tolbi as counterweight. The scorched aftermath left Rudania shaken and deeply scarred.
• In Inariko, the battle began in the aftermath of an Alpha Wolfos hunt but quickly devolved as Keeta, Duncan, Taika, and others succumbed to the Blood Moon's influence. Once allies, they became mindless destroyers. Taika, reborn as "Blighka," rained chaos from above, and even the snow seemed to bleed as friends tore into each other beneath the sky's red eye.
• In Vhintl, a massive Blighted Skulltula shattered the village's elevated platforms after a coordinated effort destroyed its Blight Eyes. But the true horror came after the collapse. As villagers regrouped on the forest floor, Blight reared again from within. Kaspar, Jinghua, and Vernon all reached Stage 4. Friends attacked friends. The air grew thick with malice, and hope was hard to find.

Amid the wreckage and mourning, one presence stood firm.

Elde, the Kokiri warrior and caretaker, fought not with rage but with resistance. Despite being stabbed by Vernon—one of their oldest companions, now a husk driven by Blight—they did not strike back. When Jinghua, lost in the madness, lunged to kill them, they shielded themselves but refused to raise a weapon. They offered words instead of blades. They held the line—not against an enemy, but against despair.

The forest noticed.

There was no divine chorus, no glowing sigil in the sky. But something ancient stirred: a pulse through the wood, a warmth in the rain. The Resonance—a rare and sacred phenomenon, born when will and spirit align so completely with the land that the Old Powers are stirred awake—moved through Elde.

And in that moment, Elde was chosen.

Not by ceremony, not by bloodline.By courage.

Elde did not ask for the title. They did not want glory. But the forest saw fit to name them anyway.

They became the new Oracle of Courage—a living vessel of the forest's will, imbued not with raw power, but with unshakable resolve.

Their awakening did not purify the Blight. It did not end the fighting. But it created a stillness within the storm—a tether for others to hold onto. For some, it was the first time in days they remembered who they were.

Elde would carry the title forward quietly. Without fanfare. Without reward. Only the weight of what it meant to protect not just their people, but their hope.

The day following the final battle against the corrupted shadow beasts, Loq called a town gathering at sundown, supported by San and Aemu, to finally reveal the truth about his identity and the recent attacks. Though nervous, Loq was determined to give Rudania the answers it deserved.

As villagers gathered—some disheveled, some wary, some excited—they were met with a surprising sight: Loq removed his hood and mask, revealing glowing teal markings, two-toned red and blond hair, and unmistakably non-Hylian features. He revealed himself to be Twili—a being from a parallel world known as the Twilight Realm.

• The Shadow Beasts were the result of corrupted twilight sent from the Twilight Realm into Hyrule by hostile Twili mages, transforming local wildlife into monsters.
• Loq confessed that while his device, built from ancient parts, prevented a full-scale invasion, it couldn't stop the spread of the corrupted energy.
• He assured everyone that the corrupted twilight had now fully dissipated thanks to the villagers' efforts.
• He explained that while some Twili are hostile, not all are, and the attack came from the ruling monarchy who still bear a grudge over a millennia-old exile from Hyrule.
• The device—a fusion of ancient tech and magic—can be maintained and activated once a year to keep Hyrule safe from further incursions.
• Loq expressed remorse for lying about his identity and history but promised full transparency moving forward.

• Some villagers (like Paachi, Maple, Thalia) were unfazed, curious, or supportive—Paachi, in particular, lightened the mood with loud, chaotic flirtation.
• Others (Ema, Keaka, Keaton) voiced skepticism, fear, or deep questions—ranging from the nature of the Twilight Realm to the ethics of continued secrecy.
• Tensions simmered but were largely eased by Loq's honesty, San's quiet support, and the willingness of many to forgive.

• Loq's status in Rudania is now publicly Twili, changing the dynamic of his relationships and social position.
• Villagers are now aware of a parallel realm with sentient life and political complexity, introducing new cosmological stakes.
• The town is entrusted with knowledge of the Twilight Containment Device, making its maintenance a future concern.
• The incident strengthened trust among key villagers while setting a precedent for future Twili interactions.

Loq concluded the meeting with an offer to personally explain or demonstrate the device to anyone interested. He vowed to continue supporting Rudania and protecting Hyrule, no longer hiding behind a mask.

He departed with San, who escorted him home—though not without first chastising him for teleporting inside without permission. The two shared a quiet, intimate moment after the meeting, marked by gentle humor, mutual care, and the lingering tension of vulnerability.

Loq's reveal marked a turning point in Rudania's history—no longer just a village of survivors, it had become a keeper of interdimensional secrets. While not everyone left fully at ease, the seeds of trust, understanding, and resilience had clearly taken root.

The first Mogma emerged from beneath the surface in Rudania following a harrowing week of volcanic activity. For days, the skies over Death Mountain darkened with smoke, followed by tremors that shook the land with increasing intensity. These quakes, subtle at first, quickly escalated—rattling windows, toppling roof tiles, and shaking the nerves of villagers across Hyrule. Then came the fire: flaming boulders launched from the volcano's summit, reaching as far as Vhintl itself.

The volcanic outburst reached its peak with a massive eruption, sending debris and magma hurtling across the landscape. Amid the chaos, fortune-tellers and scholars alike failed to identify the source—until, finally, an answer quite literally surfaced.

From the cracked earth in Rudania, a strange mole-like creature climbed forth, introducing itself as a Mogma. Describing themselves as former denizens of a sprawling underground megacity beneath Death Mountain, the Mogma explained their civilization had collapsed due to greed-driven overmining. The resulting structural instability triggered the volcanic eruption and subsequent quakes.

With their subterranean city reduced to rubble, the Mogma sought refuge among the surface-dwellers. Though unusual in appearance—resembling a mix of bear, dog, and mole—they were not met with fear, but compassion. The villages of Rudania, Inariko, and Vhintl each welcomed the Mogma into their communities, making them the newest race to live among modern Hyruleans.

During the eruption week, players could participate in the Death Mountain Event, where they had the opportunity to roll once daily using the /tableroll fallingrocks command. While the event has concluded, those who rolled and received select outcomes were rewarded with a bonus OC Slot, allowing them to create a Mogma character immediately.

The eruption of Death Mountain was a harrowing event—but from its ashes rose something new. The Mogma, once hidden beneath the crust of Hyrule, now walk among the surface-dwellers as a symbol of survival and second chances. Though their subterranean empire is gone, a new chapter begins—for them, and for Hyrule.

As spring unfolded across Hyrule, curious, shimmering crystals known as Goddess Plumes began appearing throughout the land. Feather-like in appearance and softly glowing, they sparked rumors and wonder among villagers and travelers alike. Many were unsure of their purpose—until researchers at the Inariko Library, with the guidance of Oracle Nihme, issued a call for donations.

Villagers from Rudania, Vhintl, and beyond journeyed to Inariko to deliver their findings. These plumes, said to hold divine energy, were gathered for intensive study—each one contributing to a greater mystery slowly unfolding beneath the watchful eye of the goddess Hylia.

Participants were encouraged to donate Goddess Plumes via couriers, direct travel, or handoff to the Oracle's representatives. In return for their generosity, each donor received a Job Voucher—a token of appreciation and opportunity, encouraging new journeys and vocations.

As plumes reached a critical number, Oracle Nihme invited the public to a special gathering before the statue of Nayru in Inariko. With researchers flanking her and mysterious plumes aglow in their baskets, Nihme revealed a divine truth:

These plumes are conduits. Hylia is speaking to us.

She called forth two Sheikah—Keeta of Inariko and Yves of Vhintl—to participate in a sacred ritual. Neither fully understood their role, but under Nihme's guidance, they bowed in prayer and extended their hands to one another.

At the moment of contact, a gust of wind swept the square. The plumes in the baskets and Nihme's own hand burst into radiant dust, scattered by the wind. In their place, a faint glow appeared on the backs of both Sheikah's hands.

Nihme declared to the stunned crowd:

"Her message has been received. I am honored to name Keeta and Yves as Hylia's chosen Acolytes."

Cheers erupted. Researchers applauded. But not everyone felt joy—some were confused, others hesitant. Keeta, overwhelmed and withdrawn, could barely process what had happened. Yves, still recovering from a previous injury and body-swapping incident, fainted under the weight of the moment.

Yves (in Keeta's body): Struggled under emotional and physical stress. Yves had only recently confessed to being spiritually swapped into Keeta's body and had been hunting in his place to avoid suspicion. Her recognition as an Acolyte added layers of guilt, fear, and responsibility she never asked for.

Keeta: Disoriented, uncomfortable, and unconvinced of his worthiness. Though central to the ritual, he kept a low profile and quietly left the scene, shaken.

Señor Froggy Pants: Unconfirmed if he was notified.

• Kiki (Courier) vowed to spread the news with pride and pledged her support.
• Goldie (Mole Adventurer), having hand-delivered her donation, declared she'd stay in Inariko for a while—enchanted by snow and sky.
• Fiddle (Vhintl Youth) beamed with pride for Yves, secretly disappointed to lose their plume to the wind.
• Beebi, overwhelmed by feelings of being left behind, resolved to speak to Keeta when things calmed.
• Tasmin, silently contemplative, watched as Hylia's presence echoed louder than ever before.
• Taika, perched above the crowd, gasped and cheered with joy at the magic of it all.

Though no one can yet say what it means to be Hylia's Acolyte, one thing is certain: the divine is stirring, and those chosen are now marked.

With the plumes gone and the ritual complete, whispers spread that this is only the beginning. What comes next—visions, trials, blessings—remains to be seen.

San Keeta, a reclusive mercenary, had gathered close friends to unveil their newly built patio. The moment was shattered when masked Sheikah from Inariko ambushed the event, claiming San was a fugitive guilty of murder and evasion of execution.

Before witnesses could react, San was unmasked, restrained, and accused by Councilman Simmon Kamado, uncle to one of the deceased. Under pressure, San confessed to the crimes—though the authenticity of their words remains contested.

Allies like Loq, Mati, and Yves tried to intervene, but San was taken—bloodied and bound—from Rudanian soil.

Upon learning of San's capture, Oracle Aemu—too late to stop it—unleashed her divine fury on Inariko. In an explosion of rage:

• The Sheikah Council Hall was obliterated
• The surrounding promenade and homes suffered critical damage
• No lives were lost, but the symbolism was clear: Inariko had crossed a line

• Operating under the authority of the Inariko Sheikah Council, without Rudanian consent

Target:

• San Keeta, unarmed and surrounded by guests

Outcome: San was forcibly unmasked, disarmed, and taken without diplomatic warning. Despite the presence of villagers and attempted intervention, the Sheikah succeeded in their goal—leaving Rudania shaken and furious.

• The trial was relocated to Vhintl, a neutral ground, under pressure from Oracle Aemu
• Villagers across Hyrule questioned both San's confession and the Council's methods
• Aemu's destructive retaliation drew both reverence and concern
• Many of San's friends journeyed to Vhintl to testify or ensure their safety
• Inariko's promenade remains in disrepair; donations are being gathered to rebuild

• Inter-village trust has fractured
• Inariko's political standing was damaged
• San's identity, crimes, and trauma are now public knowledge
• Oracle Aemu's power—and her loyalty—were made indisputably clear
• The morality of San's actions remains a subject of deep debate

Thanks to widespread support, divine intervention, and diplomatic effort, San was released from custody in Vhintl. Oracle Aemu personally escorted them home, joined by a small group of loyal companions.

San returned to Rudania alive but changed—re-masked, emotionally scarred, and met with both welcome and wariness. Some embraced them. Others stood at a distance, unsure what to believe.

This was never just about crime or punishment.

The arrest of San Keeta exposed fractures in power, identity, and justice—forcing unlikely figures to act out of loyalty, rage, and love. From celebration to catastrophe, from violence to return, the villages of Hyrule were reminded: protection, like truth, often comes at a cost.

As twilight fell over the cliffs of Inariko, a long-forgotten door deep within the Library suddenly stirred to life. Its surface shimmered with arcane hues—azure and violet—casting eerie reflections across the ancient chamber. Alarmed and intrigued, local scholars summoned adventurers from across Hyrule to investigate this magical anomaly.

What began as a strange occurrence became a full-scale, multi-week event involving exploration, puzzle-solving, and artifact discovery. Roleplay unfolded as characters attempted to decipher the door's purpose, leading to the eventual unveiling of a secret chamber known as The Archives.

• Players rolled 1d50 to interact with the door and pedestal. Mod responses revealed cryptic hints, magical sounds, and the gradual emergence of a pedestal near the door—suggesting some kind of offering or mechanism.
• Characters from Rudania, Inariko, and Vhintl gathered to investigate, with some returning multiple times in pursuit of knowledge.

When the door's magic subsided, a library-wide cleanup was organized to restore the now-disrupted chamber. Adventurers could purchase cleanup passes and roll dice to recover hidden materials—many of which had been buried for centuries.

• 🗝️ Relics: On April 16, one player uncovered a genuine Relic (Roll: 98), requiring appraisal from an Inarikian artist or scholar

After weeks of collective effort, the sealed chamber was finally unlocked and formally named "The Archives." Overseen by Professor Alden, it now serves as a hub for Inarikian research and cultural preservation.

• The Archives will host future events, artifact appraisals, and scholarly exhibitions.
• Players who uncovered relics are encouraged to return for appraisals and lore engagement.
• It represents a turning point for Inariko's cultural importance in the broader world of Hyrule.

While not part of the official in-character canon, the event gave rise to several memorable community jokes and roleplay energy:

• The cluttered library was affectionately renamed "SHEIKEA", a Sheikah-tech/IKEA hybrid.
• Players leaned into the chaos with furniture jokes, character meltdowns, and pseudo-commercial antics.
• The final hours featured an OOC-but-emotional "Closing Time" tribute as characters like Pommé, Solas, and Sato wrapped up their sessions with heartfelt goodbyes.

• 40+ cleanup passes used across dozens of characters
• Significant player-driven lore and community storytelling
• Established The Archives as a permanent feature for future quests
• Laid groundwork for future relic-based plotlines and artifact appraisal events

"Goodbye SHEIKEA, you shall be missed." — A community farewell that will echo through the shelves of the Archives

After a stretch of weird occurrences going on in Vhintl, from what seemed to be the sounds of thunder in the distance, to the earth shaking, and the overwhelming feeling of being watched spreading across the village, a meeting is called. It is at this very meeting that the residents of Vhintl came together to solve the mystery of what was going on…

An owl Rito named Basil, known guard in Vhintl, hosted the meeting of minds. Players were asked to roll a 1d20 to see what knowledge their characters brought to the table. With everyone putting their heads together, they realized something new was in the forests. Big creatures, small creatures, but no one knew exactly what, until the friendly keaton Kimino's sharp eyes spotted something in the tree tops. It was then that it was revealed that morths had been slowly spreading among the treetop village… But not only that… some kind of massive forest fire was brewing, and one of the culprits themselves burst onto the scene as a Mothula launched itself at the gathered people, before flying off.

Once it was discovered that Morths and Mothulas were the culprits setting the forest ablaze, players were encouraged to use /tableroll firefight in order to see whether they helped or hindered the fight to keep the flames in check. But not only that… as the players were driven deeper and deeper into the forest, following a wayward Mothula trying to return to the nest with its meal, they eventually found the Mothula Queen herself. Half-driven mad with blight and pain, her cries were what forced the Mothulas into such a frenzy, driving them to set fires and snatch prey in any effort to soothe their queen. Faced with no other choice, the gathered residents of Vhintl and a few friends from other villages fight the Queen with all their might. By rolling a 1d20 to see whether they damaged the Queen, or were forcibly stopped and swarmed by the surrounding Mothulas, these brave villagers changed the tide: Fiddle, Rhifu, Carambole, Sonata, Redd, Euthalia, Kimino, Beckett, and Phoria.

Tragically, it was during the start of this battle that Basil lost their life to the Mothula Queen while trying to protect Phoria.

It was a close call, but in the end, the Queen was subdued as Beckett landed the final blow, and her cries of pain were at last silenced. With her gone, the rest of the Mothulas settled their own rage, returning to their placid, natural states. Foras and Elde arrived too late to help the fight, but acknowledged the sheer courage of everyone gathered. Foras also tells their gathered friends that the Mothulas were a natural part of Vhintl, no different than the deer and bear who so loved their forest. Like with so many things, blight led to corruption, and violence… And while the fires were dimmed, much of Vhintl was still left burned and scorched.

It will be a long road ahead to restore the forest to what it once was.

But on the bright side, two little Morths, dubbed Rumble Ball and Mortholomew, found new homes among people, free from the Queen's dying anger.

Every year since the end of the Blight Bloom and the reopening of the roads, Inariko has been hosting the Winter Ball. What is normally a routine and peaceful gathering of the three villages on neutral turf to celebrate the New Year would turn disastrous before the night was through.

Not long after the ballroom's doors were opened to guests, and shortly before the celebration was set to start, individuals present began to notice the shadows darkening, a strange blue light flickering outside the windows. None of these omens would put a damper on the coming celebrations.

Shortly before the attack, attendees Ohki, Culver, and Dolores began to investigate the strange occurrences that seemed to be happening around the venue, but did not immediately uncover the truth until it was far too late.

A Moblin broke the door down. But it didn't take long for those within the venue to realize that the Moblin was not normal. Strange shadows enveloped the monster's body, and it shambled with an unnatural gait.

Mako struck first, hurling a serving tray towards the beast, which unleashed a torrent of writhing, worm-like Blight that rapidly grouped together to form a monster that then attacked the people within the venue. Some individuals noticed that the beast did not seem to be able to see, but was responding to the physical stimuli of attacks thrown its way. This monster would continue to terrorize the venue, Blighting Russet, Blaz, Kimino, Mako, and eventually Sonata before it was defeated later in the night.

While some were trapped within the venue, Minoru, Ohki, Culver, Choji, and Pomme escaped the threatened venue to seek the Sage of Water, Korelii, and the Oracle of Wisdom, Nihme to aid in the crisis.

Upon coming into contact with the writhing beast, Blight took over the bodies of those who were Blighted. They found themselves controlled by the force of the worm-like Blight like puppets on a string. Some were overcome by the power of this Blight and were forced to attack friends and allies. Through clever tactics, verbal warnings, and sheer force of will, those who were puppets to the Blight did not harm anyone in the venue.

Some of these individuals sustained lingering injuries due to this event, but all have since made a full recovery.

Some eyewitnesses reported the exceptional abilities of several brave souls that showed their Power, Wisdom, and Courage in this time of crisis.

• Sonata skillfully dealt a blow to the monster terrorizing the ballroom by dropping a large cauldron of soup onto the monster's body.
• Mako was able to disable her Blighted body by wrapping herself in a tablecloth, rendering her relatively harmless.
• Lucio miraculously staved off a blow from the monster with the help of little more than a serving tray.
• Pomme protected her friend Choji from the worm-like Blight while they searched for a way to contact Korelii.
• Kimino, despite her severely Blighted state, was able to fight and distract the monster in the ballroom until help from the Sages and Oracle could arrive.
• Ohki, Minoru, and Culver are credited with saving the Oracle of Wisdom from the worm-like Blight which had disabled her and left her unable to stop the attack. Ohki's snowballs filled with rocks drew the monster's attention, and Culver was able to retrieve a crab trap which he then threw atop the beast, crippling it. Minoru was able to fend off the monster with little more than a torch and aided in striking the final blow that sent it into the river. The Oracle of Wisdom extends her gratitude to these three individuals.

The attack on the ballroom came to a close with the arrival of Choji and Pomme who were successfully able to contact Korelii, the Sage of Water. With the monster worn down by the combined efforts of those who escaped Blight, and Kimino, Korelii was able to finish it off with a single, solid blow and began his relief efforts within the ballroom.

After being rescued by Ohki, Minoru, and Culver, Oracle Nihme was able to come to the ballroom and purge it of the remaining Blight. After the ballroom was deemed safe, she would depart to render aid to the rest of the village which had been affected by the worm-like Blight as well, though not as much as the ball itself had been.

The worm-like Blight had infested the village. Even those who were not present at the ball would find themselves in danger. Guards, scouts, and others on patrol for monsters found themselves in harm's way, and some were infected by these horrifying creatures until Oracle Nihme arrived to rescue them. Innocent people found themselves in danger as the worm-like Blight came into their homes under their doorways.

Following the cleanup, and the restoration of the protective barrier surrounding the village, the villagers were left to ask why, and what happened that day.

It must be noted that those who witnessed this event saw Blight in a new form, with new capabilities. It is presently unknown if Blight will return in this form, let alone where it might strike next.

A twin crisis strikes Vhintl and Inariko on the very same day. Red-clad figures come forth. From where they hail, it's anyone's guess. But unlike one suspicious sighting in Inariko prior, on this day the red-clad figures are on the attack.

There's a rush of commotion, as mystery figures attack Vhintl from its outskirts. Moving with intent, it soon became clear that they weren't just there to fight. They made targeted grabs at people, seemingly intent on taking them from their very homes. Several brave Vhintlians, and a few visitors were there to help repel them. But while Atir, Beckett, Ezra, Ayame, Anju and Marx all escaped with minor injuries, a visiting Rudanian named Tai was snatched. As the red figures disappeared, they took Tai with them…

Only hours earlier, Inariko had experienced a similar, daunting attack from these strange people. Focused on the temple Hibiki stays at, a wave of these attackers came. Thankfully, the temple itself was not without visitors, or people who happened to be passing nearby. Naisuri, Cal, Rawli, Ze'alous, and two visiting Rudanians known as Blaz and Lucio were all there to stave off the instigators. In their wake, they leave a broken mask with an upside down Sheikah eye. Ze'alous is the one who picks up the strange object…

Immediately choosing to take action, Beckett seeks the aid of Foras, Vhintl's Dragon of Courage. While they offer what they can, other villagers caution Foras not to leave Vhintl. Thus it is Beckett and the other Vhintlians who saw Tai get kidnapped, who band together to go to her rescue. With the addition of Redd, a Vhintlian guard, they begin their trek to find their missing friend.

It is a week later when they finally find Tai. After all their searching, the assumed leader of the red-clad figure steps out to greet the rescuers. Tai is not let go without a talk, however. This leader asks of the group how many Oracles they have. How many Dragons. They ask for the return of the child currently harbored in Inariko. Beckett is chosen as the primary negotiator, and skillfully he talks to this ominous figure, using equal parts honesty and exaggeration to take part of the debate.

After some time, Tai is released back into the custody of her companions, and the leader of the red-clad group states that the child may remain in Inariko for now…

One of Hibiki's primary caretakers, a priest of Nayru, learns of the attack mere moments after it has ceased. Grabbing Ze'alous as both an eyewitness and the one who holds tangible evidence, Minoru aims to seek Nihme's guidance. Joined by Choji and Pomme, the small group collectively visits the Oracle of Wisdom. While there, they learn that even Nihme does not know much about the current threat they face, or the mystery that shrouds Hibiki. With the mask Ze'alous brings, and with a talisman Pomme brings notes on from the relic archives, it is decided that the group they're looking at may be descendants of a tribe of Sheikah that split off from their fellow clans.

With little else to do about it, there is a call put out across villages to begin research on these new threats.

Seemingly not done with their bout of violence, the red clad figures show up in Rudania now too, causing just as much chaos as they had in the other villages.

It's a rough and fierce fight. Bravely do the Rudanians fight to defend what is theirs. Kelo, Paachi, Arthur, Dandruff, and Comet all put up a valiant effort. But though the red figures are driven off, it is not without cost. There is a building collapse, and while most of the defenders make it without heavy injury, Kelo suffers severely, half buried beneath the rubble.

Darune, Dragon of Power, arrives in the aftermath, and Arthur goes to tell Sable, Kelo's adoptive sibling, what has happened.

Naediya, one of Rudania's healers, also arrives on the scene in order to help those who are injured, attending to Kelo as best she can. As that happens, those who just fought explain to Darune what has transpired. After they are all certain Kelo will be okay, Darune takes to the skies with whoever wishes to accompany them.

The Dragon of Power finds the encampment the attackers had fled to, and levels it all with a warning that should they try this again, their lives will be forfeit. They have been warned.

A sudden rumbling strikes Rudania on an otherwise normal and peaceful day… Bokoblins riding atop bullbos come storming into the village, trailing a white lynel along with them. In a bold move, they attack the village directly. And though the lynel is defeated and several of the bokoblin riders are taken out, it's soon revealed that those that escaped took something with them... While Rudania itself was thrashed beneath the rampaging hooves of the bullbos, the bokoblins had also stolen three villagers amidst the chaos. Cut, Ciemny, and Sable were all missing, but there was a clear path to follow.

Banding together, the villagers, accompanied by the great Dragon of Power Darune, would soon set out to rescue their friends…

Upon following the trail left by the bokoblins, the rescue party came to a large series of tunnels. To the rightmost tunnels, they would find monsters. To the leftmost, they would find monsters there as well. And a tunnel leading towards the center went down and further in, revealing a strange sort of locked door. While Arthur, Paachi, Mati, and Thalia investigated the door, Kimino, Amaia, Rabi, Llewellyn, and Darune took the right. To the left went Wren, Lucio, Mallee, and Airi. The parties to the left and right would eventually come to fight several fiends, such as silver lizalfos and gibdo lying in wait, in tunnels so dark it was only traversable with great difficulty. But the parties prevailed, fighting off the monsters and finding strange, oval-shaped stone discs.

In the meantime, with only a single torch to spare, Cut, Ciemny, and Sable found themselves trapped and bound within a closed-off cavern. To the back of them, they heard shuffling, but nothing more… Only through their cooperation did they manage to break their binds and grab the torch, banding together to find that the last thing in the cavern with them was nothing more… than a Moink! The spotted pig stuck close to them after that.

Returning to the center point with their newfound objects, the rescue party soon finds out that they've gathered keys to a door… And once they put those keys into their slots, they find something all the more unsettling inside.

There is an Argorok, a creature never seen by any Rudanian. It is chained, and has been for a long time it seems. That, or it grew into its chains. No one knows. But before the Argorok can be startled into attacking, Darune steps in to soothe the creature. It's not the only thing in the cave though…

Rabi, in his haste to find his brother Sable, runs off into one of the adjacent tunnels. A Helmasaurus is loosed upon the group, causing chaos as the rescue party tries to take it down while Darune keeps the Argorok focused.

In the end, in a smaller version of his draconic form, Darune delivers the finishing blow to the Helmasaurus, but not before it has crashed and collided with the cave, bashing its very foundations…

While the others had been busy fighting the Helmasaurus, the kidnapped trio and their moink managed to free themselves of the cavern, exiting into the only tunnel before them. Strangely, it led into the arena itself, but made for a quick way to reunite with the group. And with the cave starting to come down so quickly, the only option was to run… However, two stayed behind: Darune, and a little fairy released by Airi. Darune tore at the Argorok's chains, while protecting their villagers from another threat beyond the collapsing cave: hordes upon hordes of monsters pouring out from other tunnels, swarming and attacking and fighting like a horrific wave of ants.

The others all make it out just as the cavern collapses upon Darune, the Argorok, and the fairy…

There is a pair of eyes that watches, as the rescue party emerges again from the tunnels, worse for the wear but all alive. The mountain rumbles, part of it collapses into stillness.

And then Darune bursts forth in their full and true size, wounded by the initial collapse but still alive. Following behind them are the freed Argorok and the little fairy. It seems for now, that all is well. The Argorok may very well come to live around Death Mountain. The kidnapped trio are all safe, and Cut takes the moink as a new pet. There will be much of Rudania to fix, but at least they will all be able to do it together.

But later that night, the blood moon will rise, and all the trapped and dead monsters will come alive again. They won't stay buried forever.

And unnoticed, the pair of eyes disappears once more.
