Active job perk — encounter monsters with
/loot in your village Town Hall. Win the fight to loot items from the monster's drop table.
Daily monster fights for adventurers, mercenaries, scouts, and more
Looting is an active Job Perk for Roots of the Wild. Characters with the LOOTING perk can roll daily monster encounters based on job and village region, then fight automatically for loot, damage, or both.
Use /loot in Discord from your character's Town Hall channel. Wins add items to your OC's inventory — same database as gathering, crafting, and trades.

Each looting job pulls from different monster tables across Hyrule's regions. Your Town Hall village sets the region for the encounter list.

Stronger monsters and raid bosses
/loot always uses the Blood Moon encounter table (not the normal daily pool)/loot combat with Blood Moon flavorDuring Lightning Storm weather, there is a 30% chance of a −1 heart lightning strike on /loot (and similar outdoor commands). Combat elixirs (Fiery, Chilly, Electric, etc.) and Sticky Elixir can modify loot encounters — the embed shows when one triggers.
Higher-level home villages improve combat and loot
Temporary perks from other jobs
Accepted Looting-category boosts from /boosting modify combat and loot. Only Looting boosts are consumed on loot — Crafting, Gathering, Healers, and other categories stay active.

Activate a job voucher on a character whose permanent job lacks LOOTING, then /loot using the vouchered job. The voucher bypasses the daily limit for that action.
When /loot fails or the daily slot is used up

Use the Town Hall for your OC's current village (currentVillage). Unlike /gather, you don't need to be physically there — but the channel must match that village.
Wait until the next 8 AM Eastern reset (the embed shows the time) or activate a job voucher for another loot.
Heal, serve jail time, wait out the debuff timer, or seek blight healing from an Oracle or Dragon before looting again.
Only LOOTING jobs (or a voucher into one) work. See the jobs list above — Adventurer, Mercenary, Graveskeeper, Guard, Scout, Hunter.
Yes for normal users — /loot claims the daily slot before rolling (~20% chance on normal days, ~10% on Blood Moon). A job voucher bypasses the daily limit so you can try again the same day.
Raid cooldown or setup errors block the raid — your voucher is not consumed, but non-voucher users already spent today's slot. Try again after cooldown or wait for the next reset.
Wait a moment after using /item on the voucher, then run /loot again.
